Crate/Soda Pop Box for Jake the Dog

This is for my lil' shadow Jake (think of pig pen from charlie brown) ... 









He has become quite the bed hog so I've decided to make him his very own glorified Doggie Bed. 

So now that its all finished, can you believe he refuses to use it!! ... 
lol, but it did turn out cute ;)

Love for Chalkboards ♥

So I decided to put together a rustic-looking chalk/magnetic board... 
I went and found the most beautiful-grungy wood that i could find. which i used for the frame from (home depot) ... i had been dying to try out the DIY vintage stain (made from wool and vinegar) so i stained the frame with that... then i used a piece of pre-cut mdf board and had them cut it in half for me. from their I painted it with the magnetic paint and finally coated it with black paint. bringing it to its chalkboard presence. I decided to make it into a Tic-Tac-Toe board...
